We have finally deemed everything ready to go, and sailed yesterday from Tahiti to the nearby island of Moorea. This is the farthest point we reached last summer, and it is just as beautiful today as it was then. We spent yesterday swimming and snorkeling off some small islands just inside the main coral reef. There were hundreds of different varieties of brilliantly coloured fish, as well as some black-tip sharks and manta rays. We expect to be here for a few days, and then head 90 miles west to our next island adventure, Huahine.
